RESTAURANT REVIEW: BELOW ZERO RESTAURANT & ICE BAR

The aim was to go to the ice bar but we needed to have dinner so we decided to go to the sister company Below Zero Restaurant.
The atmosphere was pleasant with most people celebrating for one thing or the other. We arrived few minutes late and we were worried they might cancel our booking as we had to book 3weeks in advance. We were glad when they took us to our seats and did not even complain about the time. Their staffs have excellent customer service skills. They told us how the night will go and our waiter came over.
What We Ordered/ What happened
We started off with a glass of champagne and appetiser.

Jamie's Jollof Rice Review

Jamie’s Jollof Rice.
So everyone is going on about Jamies Jollof rice. I do not actually see anything wrong with it. I don’t know what the hype is. Ok everyone gets emotional about Jollof rice but it’s his twist on a traditional dish.
If anything he gave exposure to the dish. Although it might not be the traditional Jollof rice but the inspiration came from it.

Chicken Stew

I am not a big fan of chicken in my stew but once in a while all I crave is chicken stew. So when my mum mentioned she was going to Liverpool street market, I did not hesitate to give her my list. lol!

There is something about Liverpool street chicken, its fresh and adds a taste to the stew that is so refreshing and clean. If your in Africa, this is probably not luxury for you as you can get fresh chicken easily

So back to the matter, my special ingredient when cooking chicken stew is my seasoning cube (Jumbo Chicken Cubes) as the chicken brings in so much flavour already, I just need to add a bit of oomph to the stew.

Ingredients

1 whole chicken
100 ml chicken stock
2 cans of chopped tomato plums
2 scotch bonnet
1 red bell peppers
1 onion
2 seasoning cubes
3 cooking spoon of sunflower oil.

Wash the chicken and add seasoning.
